Safety on School Buses
To ensure the safety and well-being of all students, parents are encouraged to discuss the following safety guidelines with their children before using the school bus service:
Follow the instructions of the bus driver and bus attendant at all times.
Arrive at the designated pick-up point on time.
Wait safely and board the bus in an orderly manner.
Remain seated throughout the journey.
Keep hands and objects inside the bus at all times.
Do not distract the driver while the bus is moving.
Use appropriate language and behaviour on the bus.
Wait for the bus to stop completely before alighting.
Check for traffic and use safe road-crossing practices after alighting.
